Federal judge hears arguments on Mahmoud Khalil’s detention

Mahmoud Khalil, a permanent U.S. resident and prominent leader of pro-Palestinian protests at Columbia University currently facing deportation by the Trump administration, will remain in detention in Louisiana while the court considers his case.
