Court recommends charges against NYC Mayor Adams dropped

A court-appointed lawyer has advised a federal judge that corruption charges against New York City Mayor Eric Adams should be dropped. Meantime, sources tell NBC News two federal prosecutors in Manhattan who worked on the case were placed on leave Friday and then escorted out of their building by federal officials.
