DHS ends protected status for over a half-million migrants

The Department of Homeland Security has announced it’s revoking the Temporary Protected Status of over half a million migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela. This new order applies to just over 500,000 people who arrived in the United States with financial sponsors and two-year permits under the humanitarian parole program.
