Report: Trump fires at least a dozen inspectors general

President Trump has reportedly fired at least a dozen inspectors general, according to the Washington Post and the New York Times. The dismissals appear to violate federal law because the inspectors general are confirmed by the Senate and any dismissals require 30 days notice to Congress. NBC News has not independently confirmed the firings.
