Justice Department fires federal prosecutors who worked on Trump prosecutions
As he begins his second week in office, President Trump’s acting attorney general fired a number of prosecutors who worked on the government’s cases against President Trump. The president was expected to sign a new round of executive actions, including reinstating military members who were dismissed after refusing to get the Covid vaccine. Hearings were expected this week for more Cabinet nominees. NBC News’ Kelly O’Donnell reports.
