Democrats hold Senate floor in protest of Russell Vought’s nomination to OMB

Democratic senators are speaking through the night in protest of Project 2025 co-author Russell Vought’s nomination to lead the Office of Management and Budget. Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Oregon, called him “Donald Trump’s most dangerous nominee” in a speech on the Senate floor.
