Cassidy questions McMahon on Trump plans to downsize Department of Education

Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., questioned Linda McMahon about President Trump’s plans to potentially downsize or eliminate the Department of Education. McMahon assured Cassidy any major changes to the department would require congressional action and that states and localities would still receive federal funds for programs.
